Those are great pictures, but I still wonder what you look like. blink.gif
The Colonel
Must say, I like the white kitchen floor.

The Colonel has, (after moving here three years ago), only our kitchen left to refurbish/decorate, (easy when you are a genius etc.), and was considering an oak laminate, but now, mmm...... thumbup2.gif

Thank you Colonel,

Yes the white tiles are nice.....if you don't have to clean them! dry.gif Or better still just don't use the kitchen at all. It will show up every little crumb, spill, splotch, splatter, speck of dust, dirt, hair etc.

If you clean/wash the floor once a week and are ok with ignoring a dirty floor, then I would say make the sacrifice and get a white tiled floor. But if you are a clean freak, I beg you to not even contemplate white!
You will spend all your wakiing hours cleaning that floor.
Believe me when you have two dogs and a husband that keep bringing in the outside in, you will reach a point, like I have and keep the washing of the floor to a once a week event and never look down! wacko.gif

Ilove the look of a white crisp kitchen, but I will never, ever again consiously make the chioce of white cupboards & floor for the kitchen area.
The Colonel
Yes, I see. I, of course, am the one who would bring in the dirty boots for my poor wife to mop up after. So I shall take your advice and plump for the wood floor, possibly oak. Also have a three and a half year-old daughter called Martha, who, when not Martharising other things would quite possibly see a pure white floor as a blank canvas.

I did however, totally woodclad our bathroom, which I painted white and laid a.....non-white floor! Mind, it is cream 'Florentine' 10" tiles that do show any fluff etc. that my meticulous wife may have missed! The tiles can be a bit cold on the tootsies [U.K. toes] though!

Sorry Quietmike, you may be a little dissapointed to find out that I no longer have long hair anymore?

But thankyou so much for the lovely compliment. I can thank my mum for giving me that kind of hair.
I walked into the hairdressers with that length of hair and walked back out with a cut aprx 3 inches in length and I've kept my hair.
