Lots here to discuss. Independence, Civil War, Indian Wars, WWI, WWII etc. etc. All the 'what if' questions. The transatlantic alliance, the discovery of the Americas, Australias, Polar Exploration etc. My two personal favourites are Native Americans and the Indian Wars, and the House of Wessex c. 519-1066.

Sorry, just a thought.
Since this is an international forum, have a history forum, but have a pinned topic where users can request a sub-forum be made for a certain country, like America and Britain, once approved by admin and created, they can post about whatever history-related topic for that specific country.
Just a suggestion...

My only areas of expertise, if you can call it that, are in:
Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome
American Revolutionary Period
Victorian England (Europe after the Industrial Revolution)
"Better a century of Europe than a cycle of Cathay"

Wow, I hardly have any historical knowledge, some American, some British, some French and some South African , that's about it.
