Full Version: Our human body ...

Our brain stops growing when we're about 15 years old.

The oxygen intake of a person under 30 is twice that of a person over 80.

The female human body is capable of having 35 children in one lifetime. Egad!

Your stomach produces a new lining every 3 days in order to avoid digesting itself in its own production of acid. (That explains why throwing up on a hardwood floor works better than any stripper invented – ugh!).

Humans share 98.4% of our DNA with chimps. In comparison, we share 70% of our DNA with a slug. (That's a slimy thought!)

A person at the age of 70 will have shed approximately 40 pounds of dead skin. (So aging is just another form of diet?)

About when we start really thinking about sex.
