Didn't see that one, but the ones I have seen shows he was wrong half the time.....wink.gif
Zarathustra
I remember viewing several programmes about Nostradamus and his "predictions." There was recently one that showed how his hometown had become a tourist attraction and had even built a Nostradamus museum.

I watched the special just out of curiosity, I've seen shows on him before and was interested to see what new crap they were trying to push now. I even watched the show before it. I didn't know that he had even been kicked out of university - stands to reason. If he was such a good forteller of the future why didn't he know his family was going o die from the plague and why in his will did he leave his things to "the son who survives the others"? Just a bunch of BS if you ask me.

I watched as I watched all the others too. I dont much stock in it. But it is interesting. The last book was a collection of pictures. They filled the show with the usual sensationlism which actually annoyed more than normal. The backpedaling of the event into the picture as it's prediction was insulting. As`an example, the single castle tower burning. To infer that flames arrayed in a picture (that was near to a child's drawing) was a direct claim on 9\11,proposterous. it wasn't even two towers. And the final quote of predicting his own death... too much.
Zarathustra
One could take a Bosch painting and probably do the same kind of thing.

Nostradamus's predictions are always "discovered" to be true after the fact," and have no predictive value whatsoever.

All Nostradamus did was make so many predictions, that he was sure to get some right. With only a little research it seems many of these were vague.
Conundrum
About every time I hear the name 'Nostradamus'
I say "gazuntite".
