That's the New England Patriots record.....just in case you didn't know.

There's a lot of talk about them going undefeated. As much as I love the Pats, I don't think it'll happen...simply to hard to go an entire season undefeated. They'll win the super bowl though. I just hope that when they do lose, it's to the Bills or some other "off the wall" team (sorry Buffalo), not to a team like the Colts.....stinky Peyton..... whistling.gif

Any one else think they'll go the distance?

They have a great shot at it. Darn good team and kinda make it look easy. The odds are tough but they have the tools.

Have you watched them play? Anyone? Anyone seen those crazy passes from 50 yards-Brady to Moss while Moss is covered by 2 defenders....and Moss still comes down with the ball......it's just not right.....ohhhhh but I love it!!!!!!!! thumbup.gif

CBS is estimating that this game will set new records for a T.V. audience. Some are dubbing the game "Super Bowl 41.5". I'm so excited....yet nervous too! wacko.gif

Well, one thing to remember regarding this game -

it most likely will not affect anything regarding the standings of the two teams or their playoff situation.

This may be true, but it'll be a helluva fun game to watch!! clapping.gif

Almost forgot to ask - who's your favorite for the game? Colts? Patriots? Too tough to call?

Even though I am a Patriots fan, I spent an hour or so this morning looking at various data and statistics, trying to form an objective opinion. I even looked at what the bookmakers are saying! I think the Pats have more flexibility in the backfield, and the defensive squad is just too good not to keep the pressure on Manning. I think the Colts will need to use their ground game primarily, at least in the first half, with Manning throwing occasionally. They need to try and beat up on the Pats defense in the first half, so Manning can do his thing in the second. And with both teams and quarterbacks as talented as they are, this may well come down to a shooting match between kickers.

You called the game closer than I did. thumbup2.gif

And it definitely was the most exciting Pats game I've seen yet! Wait 'til the playoffs, though.

By the way, any opinions on Shula's playground mudslinging act?

He did some back peddling on it-I read where he said that if the Pats go undefeated then they deserve it and shouldn't have "an asterisk next to their name".
