One would hope that the Iranian government would have learned the dangers inherent in not being completely open and transparent about their nuclear intentions and progress, from their ex-next-door neighbor. These dangers are multiplied by the often contradictory statements from whatever government exists in Iran, and from the absurd pronunciamentos of the titular head of state.
