After having the same isp for the past 5 year's ,i think it's time for a change.
Don't get me wrong i've never had a problem with them ,have great download speed's ,unlimited download's and it's very cheap especially as they are sending me a brand new wireless router for free.

Why change you ask?
Well as usual on a saturday afternoon i settle down to watch my team play(if not on t.v)via internet stream, and am sitting there enjoying the game when bam ,everything freeze's and my connection die's crazy.gif re-boot's computer and try's to connect to the internet, no joy.
Phone's my isp and get's recorded message saying office's are not open weekend's ,not open weekends? probably the busiest time for p.c user's to be online.
Well as i could do nothing i had to wait till today .i phoned them earlier and was told they are testing the line's and had disconnected me by mistake(along with a few thousand other's) and reconnected me right away ,however when i got back online my speeds were like having the slowest of slow dial up connection even though my computer ws connected at 3.2mbps which is slow for me but fast compared to most people ,so i ring's them back and am told that they are swapping server's to try and get everyone around the 10mps a second and it could be this way for day's ,now if i get 10mps speed i will be happy ,but the closed weekend buisness is no good to me.

Also while i was chatting on the phone to them i asked how much the call was costing and he said 50p a minute i was on for about 30min's.

Well i've vented enough anyone suggest a good isp?

Good and ISP seem to be contradictions in terms, at least in the US and most likely elsewhere. I would certainly dispute any charges for phonecalls made because of their mistakes, though.
