Whats your favorite beer?
Mine is the Samuel Adam's Boston Lager, it's smooth and rich in taste.

I like dark ales. Especially with my pizza.
My Dad's home brew was some of the best I've ever had. Only about 400 - 1/2 liter bottles in a year tho'.
I should have learned how to make that as I look back now.
Samuel Adam's has some good alternatives also, but a bit pricey for just beer?

Well, as the saying goes -
"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!"
So, my favorite is the one in front of me at the time.
Otherwise, the occassion somewhat dictates what I'll have.
If I'm just having one, in a very light, casual situation, for example, a Miller Lite Draught works for me.

Oh yeah forgot about those. I had stout in an Irish Pub here in the US. It was really good, takes forever to brew a pint. Amazed I got enough of them in me that day. Some reason though can't remember it's name.

It was a joking reference to Germans drink their beer warmer than most Americans. Americans prefer a icy cold brew where I see Germans, my wife included, like them warmer, say 40-45 F.

lol, see thats where it starts. I first had to convert to real measures. 4 degrees I think is quite cold lol.
But yes, we prefer our beer to be between 7 and 10 degrees and a good beer should be poured from the tab in 7 minutes.
Also, we are drinking beer to enjoy it, not to find ourselves on a ride on an icy lung
To underline, why I am saying it is so hard, here is a list of
types/kinds of beer:
http://www.esw-heim.tu-clausthal.de/bierwart/sorten/sorten.phtml?dokid=20All the headings there are beer kinds. Now you first need to decide what kind and then you still got to break down to the many breweries offering beers of that kind.
So technically, I would only be able to say that I have 27 favourites

I may be wrong in what I'm saying herebut... I was in Germany, 10 years back now, tokk my wife to visit her oma. We sat in a beergarden and I had 2 large mugs of I think a pilsener. They were quite a good beverage.

You are quite right. We have
Pils as one type we like to drink. There is heaps of others though. Like Kölsch, Alt, Weizen etc pp

Usually they are offered in 0,33 liter glasses. Kölsch is 0,2 though and Weizen normaly 0,5. If you go to a restaurant, it usually offers 0,2 / 0,4 / 0,5 liter glasses and 0,33 bottled beer.

Yes I believe it was a glass as in the bottom picture. I also remember it smelled good. Also that they, even the woman can carry a lot of beers. Remember also mentioning to the bride that a particular fraulein was carrying some big bottles, and remembering another sock in the eye.

Cannot beat Bass. Must never be served chilled, is excellent cool or tepid and is just as good drawn by handpump, by gravity from the barrel, in bottles or from a can. Only beer I know that tastes good whatever it comes in. Trust The Colonel, English beer is the best in the world, an acquired taste I will merit, but unsurpassed and this is the best of them all.

I used to enjoy Sam Adams quite a bit - especially the Boston Lager and the Cranberry Lambic. Lately I've been sticking with other brands' India Pale Ales and lighter Summer Ales.

Light summer ales....a bit on the old chilly side for that, it's colder than a Penguin's chuff here in England! Is it still mild over there?
Quite partial to the IPA myself, we have many many varieties here, (burp)........

Colonel, I do agree with you that the English beers are really tasty. Some of my personal favorites are English Ales....I am rather partial to Old Speckled Hen. Really good stuff.

Call me simple, but I like Bud Light. I also like their commercials!
When I was in the Army, my drink of choice was Killians Red from the tap.
When I quite smoking, I seemed to pick up drinking-a case of beer would last me a year when I smoked (I'd dump it eventually when it got skunky), but now a case will last me from 2-6 weeks....although not quite as long during football season though!

None. Don't like beer. Just don't like the taste. I prefer whisky.
