Hello! I have no idea what I'm getting into. I'm 27 and I've fallen into that crevace between my young revolutionary self and my older assimilated, depressed cause nothing changes self. Not that I'm trying to start any kind of revolution...GOD FORBID...I'm just sick and tired of adapting, of not really participating in the way this country functions. It's like...are we even here, do we matter at all? Are we just working zombies getting juiced out like oranges? LOL. I hope some of you know what I mean. Anyway, I don't affiliate myself with any particular party or sect. I just feel frustrated...like a movie is playing in front of me, and I 'm just sitting there watching and eating popcorn. Anyway, thanks for stopping by...Hope to chat with you soon...

Welcome Mr. Gypsy. Quite friendly around here, you should enjoy it.

I don't like to get involved with politics either, lots of other things to talk on here. They do take on some serious issues sometimes, and once or twice I feel duty bound to say something..... bounce.gif

If you mean on this board, "yes" and "yes".

If you mean otherwise, you've come to the right place to vent those thoughts - can't wait to find out what the answers might be.

There is something going on here! Across America from each spectrum and every point in between, it should cause all to feel hopeful that we are questioning! The collective conditioning of complacency must be antithetical to the American psyche? mellow.gif
I look forward to reading more of your post.

Perhaps the answer is to see everything from a perspective other than political. Self-overcoming and intellectual growth are just as important as which cretinish politico wins an election. There is a life beyond politics and working for a living.
But I am sure we will discuss this soon in the forums and soon become good friends.

Welcome Gypsy!

I used to care, and think, and I thought I cared to think. I'm not sure now about any of the aforementioned.

Nice to see you here. Post where ever is appropriate.

You mean those left-leaning ant eaters?

I hear they are lobbying to be an endangered species in hopes of getting foreign aid for their habitat.

I could be wrong though.

LOL...I guess anyone with an opinion is political, hence everyone is political, hence you're right. However, what about the the Aardvark? I think they all agree that ants is the way to go...Although, maybe the dream of one day having they're tubes expanded so hey can do lizards..Who knows...you're probably right...
