Yes I believe it was a glass as in the bottom picture. I also remember it smelled good. Also that they, even the woman can carry a lot of beers. Remember also mentioning to the bride that a particular fraulein was carrying some big bottles, and remembering another sock in the eye. laugh.gif

Cannot beat Bass. Must never be served chilled, is excellent cool or tepid and is just as good drawn by handpump, by gravity from the barrel, in bottles or from a can. Only beer I know that tastes good whatever it comes in. Trust The Colonel, English beer is the best in the world, an acquired taste I will merit, but unsurpassed and this is the best of them all.

I used to enjoy Sam Adams quite a bit - especially the Boston Lager and the Cranberry Lambic. Lately I've been sticking with other brands' India Pale Ales and lighter Summer Ales.

Light summer ales....a bit on the old chilly side for that, it's colder than a Penguin's chuff here in England! Is it still mild over there?

Quite partial to the IPA myself, we have many many varieties here, (burp)........

Colonel, I do agree with you that the English beers are really tasty. Some of my personal favorites are English Ales....I am rather partial to Old Speckled Hen. Really good stuff.

Call me simple, but I like Bud Light. I also like their commercials!

When I was in the Army, my drink of choice was Killians Red from the tap.

When I quite smoking, I seemed to pick up drinking-a case of beer would last me a year when I smoked (I'd dump it eventually when it got skunky), but now a case will last me from 2-6 weeks....although not quite as long during football season though! whistling.gif

None. Don't like beer. Just don't like the taste. I prefer whisky.
