Because the party in power at the moment purports to be a labour government but actually couldn't even spell Socialism.
They are in fact more right wing than margaret thatcher ever was.

Being from west of the pond I'm not totally on top of the Brit politics. But from what I've read, Labour (I think) wants to privatise the postal workers. Hence break their union.
