Tonight was the show pilot for Journeyman. Anyone else seen it?

I thought it was great.

Just watched it (out of the corner of my eye). The second and third episode will tell..... I have seen--- especially last year (Jericho comes to mind)--- a lot of very interesting first episodes that seemed promising only to be disappointed in the series as it progressed.

Jericho is a great show.

I saw the first 2 or 3 minutes of Journeyman and then well I had Hereos recorded and thats all it recorded.

I had high hopes, but I found it too convoluted for my tastes. Maybe give it one more chance.

I thought the ending was very clever. Lydia also poses a some interesting questions. Who are these "Journeymen" and what are their purpose.

Just noticed that that first episode is being re-run on the SciFi channel at 7pm EST tonight.

Yes.

I'm not sure I fully understand what triggers his "trips" back to the past yet, and we need some explanation to help make it believeable, in my opinion.

The fact that his previous girl friend didn't die and is also doing it at least shows that it isn't isolated to him.

Yeah, the ending was clever. I'll probably give the show one or two more episodes to flesh out.

It does not insult the intelligence of the viewer and one must pay attention. It is also well done, so it has a chance to gather a following.

I will admit though that I have a problem with time travel programs because they never really face the paradox of the effect one may have on their own present/future nor do they recognize the ripple effect of even the slightest change in the past.
