I'd like to know how you remember 9/11, if you remember it at all. I know some people were more effected than others because they knew people who lived here in New York, but I think that no matter what, you should remember it because it was an attack on America, not just New York and Washington D.C.

If you don't live in America, well than I understand if you don't do memorials or things like that, this doesn't really apply to you. If you wish to still have a say, than feel free, but I'm just saying...

Regards,
TheYoda

The 9/11 nightmare date is easy to remember so I have my wee private moment of remembering/silence for all of those who died and those who still must weep with the loss of those they loved.

I lower the flags at my home and scholl to half staff.
I take lunch with my wife and sit a while over looking the Hudson River at the site and reflect.
Today also took a moment at needTOS request.
When they shine the lights ,I'll take another look at nite.

I live in Bossier City Louisiana. Home of Barksdale AFB. I remember being waken up and told what had happened. As my wife and I were watching the news on Fox News, we heard a large jet passing over. When we looked out it was Airforce One and 4 F-16 escorts coming in for a landing at the base.

The lesson of 9/11 is to never fall asleep to the dangers out side your borders. If you do, those dangers may cross into your borders to try and take you down. Never forget what happened.

To be honest, I didn't even realize it was 9/11 until 9/12.

I watched it, it was nice to see so much support for it. I also have the first 9/11 concert on CD.

Yeah it was interesting. Though I thought it was going to be more of the show then the documentary. But as you can see by the time of my post it had just come on and I tried to post quick. But it reminded me that I never did get the CD . Now I have it.

I took a little time to myself per needTOS's request. Funny thing is I dont really remember the attacks but what happened because of them. Those precious days of unity throughout our great nation. It has most definately impacted my graduating class (2002). I will always link those moments of joy with the reality of that day.

Let's hope nothing like this tragedy ever happens again.I was watching the TV at the moment this insane terrorist act unfolded.A woman Newscaster on a USA news network was reading the News and behind her on the large screen,I watched the first plane hit.She was unaware that this was going on,till made aware by someone in the studio.I was glued to the screen watching this horror unfold. The whole World was in shock.Has everybody seen this particular Video?

I was watching MSNBC that morning - the old IMUS in the Morning show.
They put up a live feed and it was a couple of minutes or so, before Don was told what was happening.
He sputtered and stuttered.

We then watched the second plane impact - live.

Pure horror!

This tribute was aired only once. Because it wasn't meant to be an advertisement.
