There have been fourteen serial blasts in Ahmedabad just in the last two hours. The blasts occurred in the city's most populated areas and it is reported that nineteen people are already dead. I have one friend in one of the blasted areas and I don't know what is his fate. I will have to wait till Monday morning till I get any news.

Please I need your blessings and prayers for the people of Ahmedabad and India so that we may recover from the loss. Just yesterday, there had been 8 serial blasts in another well known city of India named Bangalore and today is this. I am really worried so please support me. I really need some moral encouragement at the moment.

I express my condolences and sorrow to those people who lost their lives due to the blast.

Is it really happening? Surat, another city in my state, has been bombed today. 100 are already reported to be injured and I know not how many are dead? Is it going to end like this?

I heard that an Islamic Extremist group is claiming credit for these bombings.

What did all those innocent people do to provoke this?

An Islamic group has claimed the responsibility by sending a mail bragging of their attempts. I think this is their way to show their bravery but to me, it is nothing more than cowardice. Who kills hundreds of unknown people unaware and boast about it?

I think it is high time our government gets hard handed on these criminals so as to keep them in check. I think the last news update was wrong because the news channel is now showing something else. I will keep you posted on developments though.

Please discuss any measures you can think of that we can take to avoid such terrorist attacks. I would be more than happy to be enlightened on the subject.
