Mars looms large in the sky 8/27/08

On 8/27/07 Mars will come within 34.65 miles of Earth which should make a spectacular sight in the sky about 12:00 am.

This was funny. I read it as 34.65 million miles. Then when I saw`JohnWho get in his car LOL, I realized viewing it would be like holding a basketball 2 inches in front of your face. laugh.gif Then I said to my self there's a lunar eclipse tonight,how will I see it? Going back to the idea that it's 35 Million miles I thought how cool that will look, like 2 moons. But not if one's eclipsed angry.gif So I looked up it's location and Dang it's a hoax !!!
