Not sure if anyone follows UFC and Mixed Martial Arts, but it definitely increasing in popularity (and has been for some time)! I am huge fan and I just wanted to get some conversation going about the sport. For those of you do follow MMA, who is your favorite fighter? I have several across the different weight classes, but one of my favorites is Forrest Griffin, Light Heavyweight.

I've only being watching ufc since ufc77 and have become a fan since, as a massive boxing fan and a wrestling fan as a youngster this has pretty much ticked all the boxe's for me.
Watching ufc81 at the weekend i expected a lot more from brock lesnar ,i thought he was great at the ground and pound but left himself open to the submission ,i was shocked by the finish.

I started watching with UFC 59 and have been hooked since then as well. Yeah, I thought Lesnar had that fight locked up in the first minute...how Frank Mir was even able to compose himself and get back in the fight blows my mind! While I think that wrestlers/fighters like Lesnar have an advantage in size and power, they are usually not prepared for the jujutsu component of MMA...give 'em some time.

I see that you are from England, so I am sure that you have heard of Michael Bisping---you a fan of him? He is a lot of fun to watch and a definite up and coming fighter.

Yeah that was great fight between Paul Kelly and Paul Taylor. I was very impressed with Kelly...didn't know he was in Bisping's camp, that's cool. He should be fun to watch in the Welterweight division.

The UFC is much less violent than it was when say, Ken Shamrock competed. It was cleaned up to make it more 'family friendly'. Even in Shamrock's day I actually often found it quite boring.
