Mmmm. Not a big fan of the Batman movies, loved the TV series, Bert Ward et al. Will wait for this to hit the silver screen.

But, mz, have you seen the Beowulf film? I ask because I might consider going to see it soon and wonder if it's worth it. It's getting wildly different reviews, some liking it and others saying it's rubbish.

Sorry for the delay in replying colonel
must have overlooked your post thumbup2.gif
To be honest i have not seen beowulf as it's not my cuppa tea ,however my brother has been to see it and he said it was good.
And that alone is reason for me to never watch it ,as he has terrible taste in movie's.

p.s I did see a version of beowulf a few year's back starring christopher lambert Here's the link ,and that was terrible .

I'll take your advice and not go. You see, I don't get many chances to do things on my own, and instead I'll go to watch Esher play rugby Saturday 5th Jan. against Doncaster. Going to the flicks as well might get the wife a little irritated.

Never seen that other version either, I saw an hour long cartoon version many years ago and have always had an interest in the original poem. Beowulf was written around the 8th. century.

As I see it there is one big problem with The Dark Knight. Jack Nicholson was The Joker last time around. How are you going to follow up on that?
