Well i was up at 5am woken by my hubs phone.. he went to have a look..and rescue his boat

it was pretty scary.. huge waves when i saw it at 8am

Thanks for the Link 'BM' Thats one angry Sea at Cromer.One can only hope for everyone affected,the worst is now over.
Would think it pretty dangerous for your Hubby to try and rescue his boat,in those conditions.
Was it as bad as the devastating 1953 Floods? We here in OZ can't allways believe the Media reports we are getting.

Yea. We had the highest flood in Hamburg in the past 15 years. Rotterdam, for the first time since they have created the sluice in the 90s, closed its doors to the harbour. Less damage occurred than anticipated. Only some poor tourists who underestimated the flood level at the old fish market and owners of flats / apartments in the new harbour city, found themselves with a surprise. Some pics here

The boat had been pulled up onto the road but there was still some concern ..

I am hoping to find more pictures as people post them on photobucket

It was nothing like the 53 floods thank goodness
