Oooooh..glad I found this here thread then....I LOVE MUSIC thumbup.gif I LOVE DANCING so if I may..I would like to share bands Im loving at the moment.

First band are called THE EDITORS...and i love em!

The Editors - An End Has A Start

They played here in a small venue AND I MISSED EM!!! blink.gif now I see they have concerts arranged for next year that are all in stadiums..not surprising..apparently they were gobsmakingly amazing!

I also am liking CHERRY GHOST...here is a video for your delictation (?)

Cherry Ghost - People Help the People

Last night here in Nottingham at our Arena we had my next fave group ARCADE FIRE...here is a video of one of my favourite tracks....sadly, at the Arena, although they were good, the sound was muffled..apparently they need to kill their sound engineer methinks!! Anyway, here they are:

ARCADE FIRE LIVE ON JONATHON ROSS

I hope you have liked my favourite bands of the minute.

Hey really good tunes Dollyeyes thanks. I'd go see them too. That Arcade Fire song was covered by the FooFighters. I like bands with a lot of different instruments in their sound.

I like most everything. I listen to a variety of choons during any given day. Well check your shedyule and see if you got some time to find some Soul/Motown faves.
When I hear hear Motown these two come first to mind.

Martha & The Vandellas

Temptations

I listen to pretty much everything (includes things like Classical and Jazz musik and the like) but Techno and Heavy Metal. I ve recently been to a concert of "Maximo Park", but also like listening to "Snow Patrol" and other similar bands. I also like listening to "Juli" or "Silbermond" (both German bands).

I just found out this morning, watching the "Tube" that a very favorite Artist of mine is back, and producing after many years of quiet.

Joni Mitchell

I won't link as I want to 'buy stock" ... he he he

(BTW - I actually have Fav's that go back about 70 years!?! Big Band sounds, Gene Kruppa, Dizzy, Bennie Goodman, Muddy Waters, The GreenMen ... AC/DC - oops they not that old)

I love Joni too (especially Woodstock, from Woodstock) and big band ,swing....

Her new album is "Shine" In case you didn't know.

In September, Mitchell returned to the public eye when Starbucks played her new 10-song album in 6500 coffee shops across the US.

A recent CBS News article you'll probably enjoy.
