Here are a few section ideas:

Maybe a forum for Academic Subjects? That would include Yano's science stuff, and some areas of humanistic interest for the other kind of nerds.

Just a thought but you could roll the Fishing and Camping into on section simply titled Outdoors, having overly specialized sections on the index might be too much

I'm with yano. Give us nerds somewhere to go!!! smile.gif

I definitely agree that some subjects should be more generalized for the main index.

I like your idea BlackSpyder. True, but I don't think the "Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry should be separated, or even put under a school topic. One thing is I would like to debate about "Spooky Action at a Distance," and the theory of relativity. Doesn't mean it's related to school.

Do you mean the "Sciences" (psychology, economics, astrology, etc.), as opposed to Sciences? tongue.gif

What I mean was: Philosophy, Literature, History, the Fine Arts, etc.. There are those who would not consider psychology or economics a science.

My idea was to have a subforum for the sciences and another for the unsciences under the general topic of Academics.

Not looking forward to that.I would like to keep it as invitation only, like a lot of the chat forums are adopting. There are a lot of clowns on the net and no doubt TV will get it's fair share, when they start Joining.

How about membership by recommendation? A member could PM you with the e-mail address of someone they think would be a positive addition to the DB, and you could send the invitation to join. I imagine a wizard like you could even automate the whole process. Or maybe not.

I don't see the TV forum's as a members only club. I don't think that is what the founder was thinking either.

The more the merrier the site becomes.
