This fella Mike Flynt went back to college and made the footbal team.
Oh yeah, Mike is 59 years old !! thumbup2.gif
QUOTE
Mike Flynt was drinking beer and swapping stories with some old football buddies a few months ago when he brought up the biggest regret of his life: getting kicked off the college team before his senior year.

So, one of his pals said, why not do something about it?

The football team in question must have been poor.

Well, for a 59 year old to qualify. I know some people may see that as ageism, I on the other hand, call it common sense.

While true that most people lose physical strength as they age, there are some great exceptions, luckily.

One example, although surely not someone who would play like the noted gentleman, my dad was in his 80s and still would run with me - and I do mean run, not jog!

Well, people in there 90s run marathons. The bodies resistance to being struck fades quite rapidly however. American Football is a tough contact sport (though players of Aussie Rules may laugh at that).
