Not every single console was included(they'd be too many) but I covered the main ones and for those not listed just choose Other and please say what it is. Many of the consoles are outdated but I know some people still like the oldies and the Computer option was added primarily for those who prefer to play games on a computer rather than a console(myself included). I also decided to add some portable consoles.

I'm a bit surprised someone chose Wii but then again it does have an advantage over the others in that it lets you use body movement as a method of play, a very interesting progress in gaming that I'd like to try one day. thumbup2.gif

I'll admit out of the choices these are the ones I've never used:
Xbox 360
Playstation 3
Wii
Gameboy
PSP
Nintendo

And these 2 only once, as I recall:
Xbox
Sega Megadrive

Even though I chose computer, if I were to choose from just the consoles, I'd go with Playstation 2(if I'd ever used some of the more advanced ones I probably would have chose one of them instead however) because I'm more into latest graphics and powerful game engines but I do also enjoy some classics and classic gaming methods.

It was me who chose the wii.
Reason being i have always had every console that has come out (except ps3).
And always found nintendo to be my personal favourite .
To be honest i would have said gamecube but as i can play gamecube games on wii ,i'll go with wii.
Also it's great excercise and fun for the whole family, even if your sore the day after playing wii sports thumbup2.gif

I had a feeling I might forget a option I would have added, guess I overlooked it because I was backtracking some of the rival companies products and forgot Nintendo's challenge to the Xbox and Playstation 2 was the Gamecube. I've never played it but looking at many of the games it produced I can see why it didn't boad well. A similar problem Nintendo had with Nintendo 64 and when they started to loose their leader status in the console market. At the time it was twice as powerful as its main competition, the Playstion but a lack of games and the type of games was a big issue and the same happened with the Gamecube. Many of the games were designed for a much younger audience, more so with the more recent of the 2. However even the Wii is Nintendo's first real challenge to the console competition in awhile and it's about time! It's taken the next step and introduced more interactive gaming but if I had to choose between it, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the last one would be my choice but if I could afford it I'd purchase all 3!
Also reminds me I forgot to add Nintendo's more recent portable console to the list, I can't quite remember what it's called but its games seem to be designed for kids too!
Even at 22 I can still remember as a child when Nintendo was king and Super Nintendo was generating so many great games and kicking Sega Megadrives' butt but things change.

Ok so I chose Computer and I'm talking like I'm a console lover, it's just that for a long time I was a console lover. Now I've swapped joysticks for a keyboard and a mouse.

I still play my Duck hunt and Mario on NES from time to time. I've even got an SNES in the box-never been used!

I have every major console excluding the Wii, PS3, XboX 360, Sega CD, and Gamecube. I play them weekly (so many games so little time)

And it would seem lots of much money you have too!

Magic words when shopping for anything "Yard Sale" or "Estate Auction"(old people who dont know what they've got), "Flea market" (buy 3 with 3 separate problems and make one), "Swap Meet" (I got what you want you got what I want) and finally "Pawn Shop" (Its probably stolen but its not your problem you bought it in a legal sale without any knowledge. Right)

Okay I was assuming you got them new, I would prefer to just buy one new age console new cos these second hand ones can be problematic but if you're experienced in these things like you are it can be avoided usually.

Super NES,I played a lot with my kids. I always thought the Ninja Gaiden was one of the hardest, hence the best.
Now I only do some PC stuff so that was my vote. My kids would vote on PS 2 or WII I think.

I'll go with PS2. smile.gif

Maybe PS3 if I had it or had had the chance to try it.
Haven't tried Wii or xbox360 yet, either.

I voted for the PS2. I've played some of the best games ever on that console. Runner up for me is the original Playstation and I'm currently trying to save up for a PS3...yes, I'm a Sony fan-girl. thumbup2.gif
