Phil Spector mistrial

Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler declared a mistrial in the Phil Spector murder case today.

The following is an excerpt from an article in About.com. http://oldies.about.com/od/oldiesmusicnews...pectortrial.htm

At approximately 5 a.m. Adriano De Souza, Spector's chauffeur, claims to have seen the producer emerge from his home carrying a gun, with blood smeared on the back of his hand. "I think I killed someone," Spector allegdly told De Souza, who immediately called the police. When the authorities arrived, they discovered Clarkson, slumped in a chair, dead from a shot to the mouth. In custody, Spector claimed to have accidentally shot Clarkson.

Only in L.A. could you find a jury so intellectually challenged that they could become deadlocked over the possibility the Lana Clarkson may have killed herself. With the amount of evidence that they had it absolutely boggles my mind that anyone could possibly consider that Clarkson had shot herself.

Let's not forget HollyWierd.

We can make fun of the location, but the truth of the matter is that our legal system is failing to convict what is obvious to everyone but the juries involved that the defendants are guilty as hell. What makes this worse is the lack of public concern, the public was very outspoken when it looked like Paris Hilton would get away with only serving a couple of days of her sentence for a violation of the law which pales in comparison to these murders, yet the public has little or nothing to say about celebrities getting away with murder.

I suspect that they will wake up,

about the same time that OJ , Robert Blake and Phil Specter's victims wake up.
