There is a topic in the Sound forum,Free top Music. On the right hand column (latest post). If I click that I will get the following error
QUOTE
The error returned was:
Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again.

If I click on the sound forum (left side) The topic doesn't exist on the list. I found that odd.

It happened also when I tried to respond to the 100 th member post (miles stone announcement),under Announcements.

But I can reply elsewhere.

EDIT
I also sent a PM earlier about this and I see now that the PM doesn't exist in my Sent folder.
ialso tried again just now to reply to those 2 and I only get the error.

Have no fear, boopme, this is a "feature" of the board, although I can see how it would be confusing.

That thread is being evaluated by the staff, and it is set as "invisible" right now.

We are checking the story and the claims made in this article.

It is possible that it may not be a safe site, too, and you know that since some of us are from the Bleeping Computer board, we are acutely away of the problems that an unsafe site can cause.

Or it might not be legit, or it may be missleading, and we wouldn't want to unknowlingly direct folks to a site that causes them problems. We certainly wouldn't do it knowlingly.

Somehow you were posting to it when it was set as "invisible", and we actually got a triple post from you. I'm going to fix that now.

Waiting on Conundrum to determine the threads fate.

I'm not sure about that "milestone" thread, I'll check it now for you.

From what I can tell the "Milestone" thread looks OK, boopme.

You might want to try posting in it again just to be sure.

If it is still a problem, then it may need more than a Moderator's attention.

It's entirely and totally and completely my fault! I should have, at the very least, thought to let our other Moderators know that the source came from one of the Canadian news sources and not just a 'web site' ... that I'd deleted the '.com' from my post so the link wouldn't light up (ergo, members would have to go to the actual source itself to get the site location and hopefully read more about 'no cheating and downloading to CDs', etc.

Yes, my fault and although I've apologised in the actual thread, wanted you to see it here as well, just in case.

Hanging my head.

Yes, it is all Mara's fault.

She is to be shot at sunrise.

There will be a short ceremony following the execution and then we will have a lot of this:

On the other hand, maybe we'll just have a lot of that

some of thia:

and not shoot Mara.

Who needs loud noises anyway?

Now that you mention it, I believe you are correct, only Staff can post in that forum. I remember back when we didn't have an Mods I could not reply to Grinler's thread there, too.

We would need an Admin to look in the Admin Control Panel to verify that, but I suspect you are correct.

The Sound forum, Free top Music thread is visible again, boopme.

You should be able to post in it again.

I have moved the Milestone announcement to the community forum, Boopme; you should be able to post a response there.
Thus moved Zarathustra
