I checked the once a week choice, but it really depends on the schedule. I live one mile from a lake and have a river another mile and a half down the road, there is another river five miles away that is a little less accessible. I like to fly fish in the rivers and troll in the lake. The best trolling is further up the hill where there are kokanee, now that's some good eating.

I couldn't vote as my time/term wasn't included. E.g. Once in awhile, or occasionally. It depends.

I get to go fishing when invited by some others. Whether it's open ocean, bay, lake, or?

I try to go once a year if I can. Even though I live 2 blocks from the river here I wouldnt fish in i to save my life, I drive all the way home and fish in a stocked 2 acre pond in one of my Dads cattle fields

I can go fishing anytime I want, there's a small lake right behind us about 200 feet. We've got bass, crappies, blue gil,cat fish ( yuk, nasty tasting things) and at one time some perch but I haven't seen any in quite awhile, there's good fishing at the lake were we keep the camper too.

Hey dc3, I didn't know trolls went into lakes?? I thought they just lived under bridges!! biggrin.gif

I would have to agree with blackspyder, catfish are by far the best of the bunch . Haven't been fishing for a couple years, but went 3-4 times a summer when I did go. (mostly at night for cats)

Mine isn't there either, "Every chance I get". But the problem is, I don't get much of a chance. By the time fishing season opens work is going hot and heavy and I'm usually working nights, DANG the bad luck.
