This has to be one of the best light shows on Earth.

Nice site, DSTM! Thanks for sharing the link - the photos bring back so many memories and just watching them fills me with a bit of regret that I'm no longer living where they were so very common - gentle sigh. Nature is so full of wonder - yipee!

We're far enough north that we can see the aurora when the conditions are just right. A cold winter night, on top of a hill, far from the lights of the cities. The only sound the whispering of the wind in the branches of the sleeping trees; music for the dancing sheets of light.

Here, the best light show I have seen is a double Rainbow.Wonder why the colours are reversed on the second Rainbow.
Have to do some research to satisfy my curiousity.
This is nothing compared to the Northern Lights.
