I love snow and the bigger and puffier the flakes the better! (I know, I know - most people don't' like it so I try to keep the delighted grin off my face when it starts falling - huge smile).

Very interesting. I had no Idea there were the cylindrical and 3D types. I realixe all are 3D but those seemed quite pronounced.

Yes, snow flakes are truly pretty and I can only imagine the work involved in taking a photo of each one.

Slightly off topic I know (hanging my head - grin) but after living on the Coast and slipping and sliding on snow, I was so surprised when moving to the far, far North and finding that one didn't even need snow tires! Nope, the air is so bitterly cold and the snow is so dry - beautiful stuff.
