Oh DSTM, what a great site! There are so so so many darling ones and a few scary ones too - grin! What on earth is the baby in the left row, third picture down?!

It's Kintana, the baby lemur - Kintana is the United Kingdom's first captive-bred aye-aye lemur.

Thanks for letting me know, JohnWho ... poor wee thing is surely something that only a mommy could love - grin.

The baby animals are so cute - makes me wish I could have more baby bunnies that were my friends as a child. Babysat a monkey for 2 weeks for a friend and it was a truly horrible, horrible experience ... but we had two baby raccoons (someone had shot their mother 'accidently'), raised with tiny doll bottles. Cute little things but harder to corral as 'toddlers' than human little ones - nothing was safe from their little hands!
