When you play Halo 1, on the 6th level (the library), at one point, 343 Guilt Spark which say something along the lines of your armor (Master Chiefs) being level 2, and that a rank 10 is recommended for the job of combating the flood. Wait a second, if Master Chief's armor is level 2, imagine how powerful level 10 would be! It was a brief statement by the monitor, but I really hope we can see it somewhere in Halo 3. That would be sweet

Well the spartan armor in halo 1 wasn't all that great compared to the armor of Halo 2. Halo 3's armor will probably be significantly better, maybe as good as a forerunner. I'm sure something along those lines will pop up in teh story line of halo 3.
