Gaddss!! I've seen some ugly sets of them but that goes beyond ugly. Why you'd almost think they were birds or something.
  Actually, I did read the article NoOne but I you know me, I just couldn't resist having some fun with the name of the poor things. I'm not sure if I've seen them in the states or not. There is a bird I believe called a Titmouse, do you suppose they're of the same family and if so is the same thing going on over here? It might be interesting to find out. -------------------- Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.~~

The Great Tit is of the Genus Parus and is allied to your Chickadees. The Tufted Titmouse is indeed a cousin of the same Genus.
The Great Tit and Blue Tit in England have long been the butt of coarse jest. For example; 'oh, what a great pair of Blue Tits', or; 'can you see those Great Tits', etc.
