Obesity Promotes Global Warming?

QUOTE
The authors argue that policies promoting cycling and walking are good for the planet because they could reduce obesity — and obesity, the authors calculate, contributes to global warming.
Do we really need to give fat people one more reason to feel guilty?

Wasn't sure what section this goes in.

Maybe "Comedy Club", except something about this just isn't funny, since they are serious.

Although, there is something ironic about this since somewhat overweight Al Gore is the AGW spokesman, isn't there?

I think its funny (not the HAHA kind of funny), that they want us to eat less beef because cow flatulance (there I cleaned it up) has methane and its contributing to GW. Who are they kidding? What's next? The more they come up with - the more laughable the situation becomes. They need to quit while they're ahead.
