#10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22.

#9. You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road.

#8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times.

#7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup.

#6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo.

#5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.

#4. Guns function normally every day of the month.

#3. A gun doesn't ask , "Do these new grips make me look fat?"

#2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.

And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman....

#1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN

So, when I read the title, I thought "not this guy, I like women".

However, now that I've read them,

I'm thinkin' I may have to reconsider.

I'll stick with my .308. Women come and go but a good sniper rifle will stay with you for a lifetime. LOL good one DSTM

Wimp! (No offense intended)

30.06 in a simple Win Model '70. That's still a 1,200 yard weapon.

(Aside: Has this thread progressed to the point of moving it to the "GunNuts" forum?)

I'm still popping cans at one hundred yards with a .22, just as deadly to those cans. wink.gif I have a friend that I shoot with that is an ex-SAS sniper, he still pretty consistently hits the cans at two hundred yards with the .22.

I want one of these for squirrel hunting, you simply shoot the tree which knocks it over dislodging the squirrel which has already passed out from the shock wave caused by the muzzle blast.

I'm getting my 38 out from under my pillow so I can defend myself from you guys!! My theory is that if you're a good enough shot you don't need an armory to kill one little squirrel unless of course you want to take the entire woods out with it!! laugh.gif
