My wife has dropped her new phone down the toilet,an 2 occassions in 5 yrs.No warranty, because the manufactures run a moisture test, and if it's got wet for any reason, nil warranty. I cheated and got the 2 phones replaced. whistling.gif

Its a good job on my contract that my phone is covered for accidental damage ,otherwise it would cost me a fortune 2 damaged in the last year.
Altough a friend of mine went through six phones last year as he kept sitting on them.

I would have also asked: "And how many times has one thrown their phone - for whatever reason..."

"C" pleads guilty to chucking a phone on occasion.
(Beware those with cords attached. They have a tendency to bounce back.)

//Aside: I see a new competitive sport - "Chuck a Phone". Distance and height do count for the winning prize money.

That's a good one too! Heres what goes on with my cousin and I. Whenever one of my phones break and whenever one of my cousins phones break, we trade them with each other. The way I fix his phone is by plugging it in to the computer and fixing it from there (Updating Firmware or Resetting the phone etc.) The way he fixes phones is a different story. A nice ditch at the wall and the phone magically starts working again! Now believe me, I am not lying tongue.gif

LOL!

I would have dropped my Motorola V3x about 10 times but I finally broke it when I got a phone call telling me something I didn't want to hear...

But with my Nokia 6288 (current phone) I've dropped it probably 5 times (thats why I voted 5)

Gosh, when I get a Hiptop *dreams about hiptop* I hope I don't drop that since I have to buy it outright. And they break easy too >.<

I only have a basic mobile. I am not that fascinated by them. I have dropped it several times.
