Lol. I don't really like car racing, but I like the cars because their gas mileage is low (well that's just my guess, but you have to have a good mileage in order to race for long periods of time.)

Big fuel tank probably would make it go slower due to the added weight. I'm not a big fan of car physics, though.

Fuel tanks in NASCAR are approx 20 gallons (super speedways like Daytona and Talladega use 15 gal ones though). Fuel mileage approx 4 MPG
My Drag Racing friend uses a 5 gallon tank with only 2 gallons in it (to cut down on costs) and will burn 3/4 of it in one run. (Plus 1/4 tank of NO2) -------------------- Speak softly and carry a weighted baseball bat. Then people have to listen to you. |

My favourite car racing is here in NZ and Australia. The V8 SuperCar series. A faceoff between Ford and Holden. You can relate to the saloon cars and even meet them some of them out on the open road. (Not very often though. LOL). Very strict specs to keep them as much the same as possible.
