Thank God it does otherwise ethanol would be water (note we actually drink stuff similar to ethanol here, both are made from corn and distilled to almost 200 proof)

I generally---well not when I was a student in college of course---either stick with beer or with liquour; mixing the two can be a very nasty experience.

I prefer a "PowerDrill" (vodka, beer, and OJ) to a "ScrewDriver"(vodka and OJ) Stoli is good flavored vodka though.

Shots of straight Vodka are better then it mixed, gets it over with faster!  Whenever I go out, I mix my drinks freely, often having shots of spirits at the same time as a pint, the results are usually more entertaining!  I haven't been ill from alcohol for a almost a year now, and I go out two or three times a week, last time was my 18th birthday! As long as you learn your limits, which I have, you can drink whatever!
