Dear Vicki,
Just got done watching Dale Jr. win the Bud shootout, and I'm tap dancing on the coffee table.
With all the crap he had to put up with last year, he deserved a happy ending, with a new begining.
Don't let me lead you astray, I'm not that big of fan for Jr., but to change teams and come out to win the first race of the year! Well I just feel great for him!

Love & Peace,
John

Mom Nature was not happy in Fontana CA. The race was Finally called on the account of rain, but not before one of the wierdest wrecks I've ever seen. It was like a pinball game on the track last night so the officals decided to give it a try today at 1:OO.

Too late for my favorite, Dale Jr, who was hit during Casey Mears' wreck. Jr did finally make it back on to the track before the race was called.

Wierdest OMG moment from last night.

What is most amazing is that everyone was just fine!

Kyle Busch won the Kobalt 500 at Altanta Motor Speedway

Tony Stewart took Second

And my Favorite Dale Jr. took third!

To anyone who has never experienced NASCAR at its finest - Next week is Bristol, one of the BEST short track races.

NO ONE finishes this race with all the parts still on their car!

Jeff Burton won the Food City 500 at Bristol, TN

We really thought that Tony Stewart was going to win but in true Bristol fashion there was a wreck on the 2nd to last lap that took out Tony, giving Jeff Burton the chance to take the "green, white, checker" (a three lap shootout, when the race goes into over time).

Stewarts wreck is Lap 497 (you can fast forward to it, Vicki I smile.gif )

This was the last points cup race for Dale Jarrett. NASCAR says godbye to a racing legend!Dale Jarrett's Story

Dale Earnhardt Jr, finished 5th.

I haven't been much of a big NASCAR fan since they changed it from the "Winston Cup", and then I was as much a Mark Martin fan as any ones (I have a Autographed poster from him somewhere) . I think Bristol was somebody's idea of a joke that NASCAR never got lmfao.gif. I do like Tony Stewart as far as the "new guys" go. wink.gif
