Congrats to the New York Giants!

I bet one USD to win and will get back five!

Conundrum is up on several one dollar bets now over about the same number of years.
I'll live well in my elder years.... giggle....

It was a fun time today.

Sorry for the little pats fans....

I am of two minds about the outcome. I certainly appreciate the efforts made by the "underdog" that resulted in their win (I like to root for the underdog and for the wild card teams), but a part of me is saddened by the Pats missing a "perfect" season after all their hard work and wins throughout the season.
Certainly the Pats had the talent, but the Giants had the will to win and to prove themselves, without the "perfect" pressures that must have had a part in the Pats minds. A great fourth quarter!

Looking at pure statistics - the little patty cakes did win. Now they have to live with getting womped by a lessor team.

The name of the game.... and it's history.

As much as I dislike the Patriots and Bellichek, I have to say that I too was somewhat disappointed that they did not finish the season with a perfect 19-0 record. I love to see NFL records broken and I do think that this is still one of the greatest teams in NFL history. On the other hand, I was happy for Eli, Strahan and Coughlin considering all that they have been through. The disgusting part of it is that the New York media and many of their fickle, rude fans don't deserve this after the way they have criticized Eli all season. The fact of the matter is that he was living under the shadow of his older brother, but I think that this SB win and MVP award will go a long way towards decreasing the constant comparisons to Peyton.

Ya, blah blah blah...go Giants....blah blah blah....where's my sig?

I'll now resume my activity I've been doing since my Pats lost..... headwallym1.gif

From what I saw of the game, it was ok, but it wasn't the same Pats that I've watched all season long.....for that matter, it wasn't the same Giants either!

I am neither a Pats nor a Giants fan (long time Redskins fan) and I didn't really expect this to be much of a game. But this was one of the better Super Bowls I have seen in a while. Very exciting.
