Just love the look of the 2008 Hummer concept Vehicle. Hope they produce them and some make their way to OZ. thumbup.gif

Maybe we do. They keep saying "affordable".

Do you see anything discussing the price point of the Hummer HX?

In that case, we might be able to afford one.

"We" meaning all of the board members,

and "one" meaning we'd certainly have to share.

I'm afraid you'd all have to chip in a huge amount of that price with me picking up pehaps just the tax - huge laugh!

Actually, I'm glad to see they are coming out with smaller ones, 'affordability' aside. We live in an area where so, so many people seem to have the giant size version of these and while I sometimes drool, I never envy them trying to park, etc. But this one - lovely!

Yeah, why not share, if it means getting our butts into one of these. Nothing I don't like about this beauty,'Mara'.
Can just picture us cruising down the Hi-way,with the TV Mod Squad aboard. Reckon it would be a real Buzz. thumbup.gif
Great idea to design one smaller, and still make it look trick. Can't decide on a colour.LOL.

Yep looks good , But I'll believe it when I see one on a dealer lot. I try not to get excited about concept vehicles too much as they seldom make it to the street, I've been hoping for this for a while now.

Base Price was supposed to be around 10k US . Would be the perfect runabout for all but serious 4 wheeling ( like rock climbing )

Very cute - it reminds me of a match-box toy and at that price - wow!

(When I see something with a US price of $10,000, we just add 50% and it usually is spot on for what we'd pay for the same item here in Canada - still a terrific price).

Hmmm ... if we bought them in 'bulk', we Mods could each have one for the same price as a single shared Hummer smile.gif

Sure thats not a misprint and you meant 100K US.'no one'
If the reaction is positive, then there's a good chance, you may see it in the near future.
More concept cars seem to be making it into production, than previous.
Yeah, can picture one that colour with tan trim,'Mara'. Would look good, IMO. thumbup2.gif

Base price of $10K would meet the "affordable" level though, wouldn't it?

For fun this a.m. I called my local Hummer dealer.

This ain't gonna happen. It's a sales ploy to sell the vehicles already on the streets.

How did I seem to know that? Rats!

laugh.gif Well, Like I said, "I'll believe it when I see it on the dealer lot", but thats what I've heard . Here's a article that says it's to be released later this year, if so I'll be surprised if the nitrous setup makes it into production (it would be a real "gas" if it did w00t.gif)

The 2009 model would be priced below $10,000 according to the report.

Well, that $10k without a radio/CD player.

Add that and the price goes up considerably!

laugh.gif

But, isn't that link talking about a $10,000 Ford Bronco?

Is that the same as the Hummer Concept vehicle?
