1 ) hard to say. I do spend most my time at BC, so I guess that counts. But I do admit I ve started to visit more sites / forums my daily life can handle lol.
Every time I have a vacation, I have a huge list of sites I want to check out rofl. 2 ) gotta be google. All other normal ones suck. I do use vivisimo (now clusty i learned 30 secs ago lol: http://clusty.com/ ) 3 ) tough one, so I d say get rid of IE. Although this is naive and wont change anything. If Firefox and Opera are getting the usage of IE, they will face same issues... -------------------- My Website | My Blog (mostly english)

Well my favorite website is also my favorite search engine. I'm just obessed with Google. I use almost all there services. I just love Google.
1 & 2. Google 3. Turn the internet into peer to peer form. Instead of the current Server-Client form. Have everyone pitch in to spread the internet. The information would still be stored on a server, but like a p2p network the information would be transferred through other people's computers encrypted (so it can't be change). Think of it as BitTorrent taking over the Internet. It would save on the strain of the servers. -------------------- |

1. BC b/c it is innovative with its approach e.g. this new forum and also b/c members there seem to be respectful of one another and there is no demonstrated personal attacks on members as I have seen in other forums.
2. Google the Great! Otherwise how would our family get an education outside of academic hours without being able to jump up and google a question. 3. Have tighter Security so that predators cannot take advantage of those that are not "street smart" on the net! Just MHO!!! |

1) well when not at BC or TV, I'm pretty evenly divided between my friend Scarlett's site, Ironic Surrealism II and Bloomberg.com
2) Google 3) that all porn sites are not regstered to one extension, for example .prn This way a parent, business or school could just block one item. A violator could easily be caught. This would keep our children safer, busunesses busier and PC's less infected with malware. Those who wish to visit can still visit when appropriate. Ok here they are. 1) What is your #1 overall favorite website? I have several that I'm equally fond of, but I divide most of my on-line time between this DB and The Honululu Advertiser DB QUOTE 2) What is you favorite search engine? Copernic Agent. Try out the free version, which I've found suits my needs quite well. Least favorite is Google. QUOTE 3) If you could change One thing about the internet what would it be, and how would that change affect the internet? This isn't so easy. The whole system needs to be re-designed, and there should at least be an attempt made at some type of standardization. For now, though, more availability and accessibility - especially cost-wise - would be the biggest improvement that could be made. There is no reason beyond "shareholder value" why any location that has telephone service available can not also have DSL available. And not at usurious prices, either! If I have DSL service here in this little town that no one outside of Cheshire County has probably ever even heard of*, then why are there people in a city the size of Honolulu that still have to use dial-up? As for change, there wouldn't really be an upheaval of any sort. It would simply result in a larger flow of information - from users, and available to users. Greater access to information could lead to greater awareness. Greater awareness of the world around them might lead people to make more informed, and therefore more intelligent, decisions. And you don't know how hard it was to write that last line with a straight face. -------------------- Lib. Free or Die
