Animals - Love is blind

This is one of my very favourite photos and for me at least, it shows love can be truly blind.

Apparently this baby was shunned at birth by mommy and the attendants truly thought she would die - but for whatever reason, she and this seagull became dear friends with hours spent each day just 'hugging' - and the baby thrived!
