ALRIGHT, PEOPLE ARE SUGGESTING THAT I JUST POST IT FROM OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS BECAUSE THEY WON'T SEND ME THEIR EMAIL ADDRESSES. (SIGH) SO HERE IT IS. PLEASE COPY AND PASTE TO YOUR EMAIL AND SEND OUT. THANKS!!

I know that this e-mail has gone around before, but lets see if we can get it to circulate again, now that it is time to start "forming our opinions." I think he is a nice man and all, but frankly, Barack Hussein Obama scares me. He's to new at this and I don't think he has a clue as to the reality and the magnitude of what it's going to take to turn this country around. Actions speak louder than words and all of the talking is really exiting but if he gets elected, is he really going to know what to do and how to "captain this powerful ship?" Although it is a wonderful and fabulous hope slash dream, I'm afraid he doesn't have the experience, knowledge and wisdom to know that you can't just strut into Washington, snapping your fingers to your IPod, singing "Change."

I believe, in order for this country to change it's ways, it's going to take a lot more than just one man/woman. It's going to have to take a lot of teamwork and experience and no one person can do it alone. No matter who we elect, they are going to have a huge mess to get to the bottom of and we need someone with the strength, experience and confidence that this task is going to require.

We all are intrigued by the refreshing message he keeps preaching.....but is it.....in the long run......naive? Is the black community climbing out of the woodwork to vote for him just because he is black??? Are people like John Kerry supporting Obama to seek some type of revenge on the other two Democratic leaders? Jab the knife in a little further, perhaps?

According to AOL news:

"While Kerry has been close to Clinton's husband, the former president, he was incensed in 2006 when she chided him after Kerry suggested that people who don't go to school "get stuck in Iraq." Aides said Kerry meant to jab at Bush and say "get us stuck in Iraq," and that he didn't appreciate Clinton piling onto the criticism he was already getting for the remark."

AND:

"Former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, the third contender in the Democratic presidential race, was Kerry's vice presidential running mate in 2004. Despite their political alliance, the two men were not close personally and differed behind the scenes on campaign strategy in a race that President Bush won."

Hmmm. Sounds like a lovers quarrel to me....LOL!!!

How classy of John Kerry to plot this public act of spite on his fellow Democratic foes by extending his endorsement to the other primary leader's competition to his newly found nieve little friend? (Where's the noogie?) Boy, politics can be a nasty world, but unfortunately, it effects my life, your life and our children's future. All I know is that this country needs nothing short of a miracle. I am praying that our next leader, whoever that might be, has the experience to know how to undo all of the damage that 8 solid years have caused. It's going to be a tough job and it's going to require a humble spirit not a power-trip-driven spirit (like Bush) to mend and heal our relationships with the whole world.

Is Barack Hussein Obama to laid-back? To carefree? To naive? To clueless to do what we need to have done? I think so. I know that it is such a controversial subject that I am talking about but please, if you agree with a little bit of what I am saying, please pass this on.

I have two beautiful children to stand up for, and I speak for all of our country's little precious people that our decisions effect the future of. Let's give our children something to look forward to! Let's give them something to be proud of!!!

If you read the post above, most of it was written in "normal" writing. If caps is not appropriate, why is it not listed in your "rules" manual? I like writing in caps because then I don't have to worry about shifting every time I need to "correctly" capitalize a word or letter. If you choose to delete something just because it is written in caps then this is probably not the message center that I should be typing on. I came here to disscuss politics, not take a typing class.

Hi HIPPIEISME,I was in the process of posting when you Posted your last reply,to my Warning. Good to see you co-operating.
Of course use a Cap to Capitalize a singular word or Start of a Sentence. Well all do it. Your last post is much easier to read.
This is a very friendly Site and look forward to reading your Posts.
Although I'm from OZ,I do follow the Presidential Race closely, and agree with you that Obama wouldn't be a wise choice to lead a great Nation of 300 Million People.

You have a right to your own opinion, but I have never disagreed with someone in my life more than I do with you. You talk about experience, what did George Bush have? Did you not vote for him for the same reason?? Clinton was the governor of a state with little power, did you say the same thing about him?? You are also so dramatic in your assessment of what would happen in he won, you remind me of my high school students as if the world would end for your kids(I have 2 children to stand up for, what does that mean?). In a time when we desperately need an authentic candidate, you wanna tear apart the most authentic one.

You also wrote, "lets give your kids something to be proud of?" I almost take offense to that statement. Obama was the first man of color to be Harvard Law editor and what was his first job after Law school?? PD in Chicago cause he wanted to learn what the poor/lower middle class was going through. Read his book before you start talking about, "proud of." I guess your proud of our current president who cannot formulate complete sentences. Yep, thats somethin to be proud of.

I don't mean to offend your position, but your reasoning is not about his views, but more about who he is and he is EXACTLY what this country needs after the past 8 years.

Oh yeah, and also, the black community is still supporting Clinton over Obama as far as now goes. Thank you for insulting us as if we would vote for Obama just cause he's black. Bill Clinton is looked as more "black" in the black community than Barack is.

I am with you on this subject. While we are on the subject let's not forget the newest...the race card that is being pulled. I am personally tired of it and it has worn out it's welcome in this country. Times are changing and I am disgusted with the abuse it has on the innocent. The Clinton's are NOT racist and if the black community remembers correctly they LOVED Bill as a good majorit of us did. I guess you can guess who will be getting my vote. Obama is too young and too inexperienced.

Not only is nobody saying they're racist, but if you read my last post it says that as of today Blacks will be voting for Hillary over Obama for 2 reasons: They listen to Al Sharpton even though he needs to desperately get off the stage 2) Bill is LOVED in the black community, Mya Angelou coined the phrase, "He is the first black Prez." On Super Tuesday, Hillary will win at least half if not more of the black vote, which will probably be what gives her the nomination.

I really wish, for all of you that are not black, do a little research on your own before you try to take the pulse of the black community. The last few posts have shown how little the black and white community know about each other. I guess I'm lucky cause I'm apart of them both

In response to email posted above, it seems to me that you have proven nothing about Barack Obama. All you have done is called him inexperienced and naive with no factual support. All you have presented is a theory that he is being supported by Kerry because he has hard feelings for the other democratic contenders. You have provided no evidence to support this claim and even if you did, how much is John Kerry's support going to change the view of the general public. Also you present the point that people will vote for him just because he is black. I do not believe that there is a significant amount of people in the US who are ignorant enough to bring race into how they choose who they want to vote for. Besides, if there is a significant amount of blacks who are voting for him because he is black, it makes sense to me that there would be a significant amount of whites not voting for him because he is black. So in conclusion, I think that your email is nothing more than a long, drawn out way of calling Obama names without factual support.

Dear Hippime,
I am sorry to have to disagree with you and the others, but are you all out of your fricking mind?
Obama is just what we need.
What do you think it takes to run a ship?
Sorry that was retorical, cause I"m not sure that I am speaking to someone who knows how to row a boat.
If you don't think he has what it takes then don't watch the ballots in 2012, cause I am seriously considering myself as a candidate for president.
I nor Obama have a corporate hand up our butts, making sure our mouths say the right words.
All the other runners have been bought abd paid for- for years.
The only other thing this country need along with Obama, is to oust all of the present congresspeople and senators. They have been dining off the fatted calf for too long now, and we need to get real people from society's corners everywhere to bring about change.
Those people in the government today have no-idea what it is to be a working stiff. Work thirty years and get their pentions yanked out from under them. Work two years and get a lifetime of retirement benifits? What kind of idiots are we if we let them to run things as usual?
Not me, fire them all and start with the little guys and girls who have to work forty plus hours a week just to keep a roof, and a decent meal.

Peace Out,
John
P.S. I bet you were never a hippie!

Too young and inexperienced? You are a Bill Clinton fan(so am I) and you say that about Obama?? Put them side by side -

Clinton, 1992 President -elect
Became Prez at 46 years old
Governor or Arkansas 9 years

Barack Obama (if he wins)

45 years old if he wins
State Senator of Ill for several years
US Senator for 4 years

Someone please explain to me how Bill was ready and Barack is not??
