I am a 55 year old, that grew up in the 50's & 60s. A confirmed baby boomer, & still the largest generation of this county. We knew at a very young age that we could be obliviated by a nuclear attack from Russia. In fact, every 1st Friday of the month, exactly at noon, the air-raid sirens would blast, we, (me as a 1st grader would hit the floor under our school desks), in order to practice in case of a nuclear attack between the United States & Russia. "Kind of like a fire drill today in school, only much scarier". Bomb selters were built. I remember as very young girl playing in my next door neighbors bomb shelter, with canned food, enough to last for months.

As I grew up, the air-raid sirens eventually turned out to be tornado warnings, as Russia & the U.S made a nuclear arms agreement.

After all the ducking under desks, I finally witnessed the moment that I inadvertantly schooled for. 9/11-- I was 48 years old then. I saw 2 of our largest, most notable buildings come down with 3000 Americans lives in them. I was enraged, & depressed until President Bush stood upon a pile of rubble & said he was going after the "people who took those buildings down". I'll never forget that, & I will tell this story to my grandchildren until the day I die.

We know that we are in a fight against "world-wide" Islamic terrorists. They have no country. They are rebels against freedom & humanity. They come in the dark, & in secrecy. There will be no surrendor, they have no country. "They will always attack at the least path of resistance."

Obama--states: Don't cast the fear vote!

I say to Obama: If you have no fear of terrorism, step aside, & let someone who does run this county.

To this Board: Is Senator Obama ready to be the Commander & Chief of this county?

Amen, Brother. I'm 61 and from the same era as you, ducking under the desks and all. I have watched the Muslim attacks against the U.S. since 1968 and, I for one, am sick and tired of having leaders that refused to answer back. When the Japanese attacked and sank the USS Panay on 12 December, 1937, and we gave no response except, "I'm Mad", the Japanese decided that America would NEVER retaliate which embolden them to make the attack upon Pearl Harbor. The same thing has happened again. The Muslims have repeatedly attack the U.S. for the last 40 years and Bush finally attacked back and now we have the Dems wanting to cut and run??? Warning, the peice will be much higher down the road just as it was in the Pacific from 1941 to 1945.

Radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now

Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking Major
Public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the
United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

I was listening to the news on the radio the other day and there was a sound bite of Obama's grandmother in Kenya. They quoted her as saying she hoped that her grandson was elected President of the US so that he could bring prosperity to Kenya. Uh....grandma....If he were to be elected, it would be of the US, not Kenya...

Not even elected and they already have their hand out....

First of all, I checked out this site and all the information you presented came from an email which floated around for a while and that people were able to forward to others. Snopes did not provide a source for this email which immediately leads me to assume that this is not a valid source of information. Second, Snopes then proceeds in an article which discusses the claims about Obama and provides evidence that many of the claims have been altered by the author of the email. It also provides insight into the real story of his backround. The moral of the story? Don't get information from an invalid source.

I have a real problem with your statement: "The Clinton's have never cut & run"?

In the first place, I blame President Clinton for not responding to Bin Laden. We were attacked on 4 different occasions by Al Queda on Bill Clintons watch. Some of which were horrific. Bill Clinton had several shots at Bin Laden, & for one reason or another didn't take them. Bin Laden was not hiding in caves at the time, he was out in plain view. At one time, a country had captured Bin Laden, & offered him up to Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton did not take him in, because it was "against" some extradition laws. Of all the laws that Bill Clinton did break, this certainly should have been one of them. The only real attempt to get Bin Laden, was derailed by then, national security advisor, Madeline Albright, who insisted that Pakistan be warned before the missles hit. Of course, sympathisers within the Pakistani government, warned Bin Laden, & he cut & ran 1/2 hour before the missles hit. During the last democrat debate, Obama & Hillary both stated they would pre-warn Pakistan on any attempted hit on Bin Laden. "Do they ever learn"?

Hillary, in the last democrat debate was asked: Would you rather win in Iraq, or leave Iraq? Her reply was to leave Iraq. This in the face, that the surge is working. She would be the first President in the history of the United States that would walk away from certain victory, giving terrorists an unimaginable victory over the United States--that would be heard & trumpeted by every terrorist & terrorist organization around the world.

Al Queda attacked us on 9/11, because they believed we would not respond in the manner in which we did. Several captured Al Queda have stated that. They had 3 country choices for their grand attack. One was Russia, another country I cannot remember & the United States. They choze the United States for a reason.

The reason: "A terrorist will always seek the least path of resistance".
