What is your favorite movie quote and from what movie?

My favorite is "Mos Eisly, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villany, we must be cautious." From Star Wars: Episode 4, A New Hope.

EDIT: It's either that or "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!" From 300.

Regards,
TheYoda

I recently saw Rush Hour 3 in theaters. I watch the first two at home beforehand. From Rush Hour 2:

There are several absolutely wonderful quotes to be found in V for Vendetta.

V quotes The Bard often, but this one, delivered to a pedophile bishop, may be the most memorable:
QUOTE
And thus I clothe my naked villainy
With old odd ends, stol'n forth of holy writ;
And seem a saint, when most I play the devil.

Of course V's introduction of himself is quite unique:
QUOTE
Voilą! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you, and you may call me V.

Evey Hammond quoting her father:
QUOTE
Artists use lies to tell the truth while politicians use them to cover the truth up.

QUOTE
Why not? This is the BTN. Our job is to report the news, not fabricate it...That's the government's job.

From Dickens's A Christmas Carol starring George C Scott, the most accurate version to my mind.
The scene where Scrooge asks the ghost of christmas present whether Tiny Tim will live.
His response;
Ghost: If the shadows of the future remain unaltered the child will die.
Scrooge: No spirit tell me he will live.
Ghost: If the shadows of the future remain unaltered the child will die, but if he is to die then let him die.
Scrooge: You use my own words against me.
Ghost: Indeed, it may well be that in the sight of heaven you may be more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor mans child.

QUOTE
Duke Henry: You're not one of my vassals... who are you?
Ash: Who wants to know?
Duke Henry: I am Henry the Red. Duke of Shale, Lord of the Northlands and leader of its peoples.
Ash: Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things: Jack and %&@!#!... and Jack just left town.

lol Rawe. That is one of the greatest lines of all times.

As for mine
QUOTE (Boondock Saints)
Connor: Now you will receive us.
Murphy: We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over, in to true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

that is a excellent quote blackspyder, (from a excellent movie )
even though this is not from the bible , I like it
QUOTE
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the Valley of Darkness; for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children. And, I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers! And, you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee!

Dirty Harry - 1971

Harry Callahan:

QUOTE
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
