I have to ask, as I'm not that familiar with Ron Paul but what's up? He seemed very confused 'specially when asked about the incident in the Persian Gulf with Iranian fast boats. Is he not paying attention to what is being said by the others? Is he a separationist? I understand he's a 'fiscal conservative' but honestly - is it appropriate to constantly hammer home his attitude: America's Broke? Not a real inspiring way to get votes in my estimation.

Worse -

"America's broke and I don't know what's happening"

really doesn't inspire confidence, does it?

I didn't watch because there isn't one candidate on the entire ticket that does anything for me. Its like watching a bunch of robots - passionless drones with the same message. Its the first time I haven't had a person on the Rep ticket that I would feel comfortable with if they won the nomination. Does Guliani ever say a sentence without "9/11" in it?

He does tend to beat that horse. All he did was clean up the mess.

Overall, I am somewhat disappointed in the field of Republician candidates. I did not watch the debate because I have already made my selection.

Good Day Vicki,

I did watch the debate. I think Dr. Paul is running for President because he loves this country. The way you worded the question is he a separationist - The answer is NO! He is an America First candidate. For me it is inspiring that a politician is standing up and saying what needs to be said. He is the real deal conservative.

I heard a lady on c-span this morning say; we have a choice to make we can either keep our Nation-USA or be Globalist and give up our sovereignty. I believe thats what this election is about.

The Republican party seems to be saying we believe in saying we believe in small government and no nation building and passionate conservativism as long as its not in the person of Dr. Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee, (I have adjusted my opinion of Mr. Huckabee, I don't think I would vote for him unless he was running against Hillary Clinton) and as long as we get to act in direct opposite of what we say and you continue to support us.
Respectfully,
Jo4Peace
