I'm about to go over 1000 posts and my title (under the Avatar) will change from "Venting Addict" to "Vented Out". However, at that time I'll be able to change it to whatever I want (within the board guidelines, of course). I'm just thinking that as the first person to hit that 1k mark, we might as well all have a little fun with it.
So, I'm asking for your help - which of the above do you think I should choose. Whichever one gets the most votes will become my new title for the next 6 months after which time I have no idea what I'll do. The voting will close at 12 o'clock noon (US EST) next monday (January 14th) or sometime shortly thereafter. In case there is a tie, I reserve the right to make the selection between those choices receiving the most votes. If no one votes, I reserve the right to return to Whoville. I know some of you are much more clever than I and may make other suggestions (be nice) that would be even better, but right now the choices are only as shown. I like that one, Quietmike.
Has nothing to do with the "who" theme, but really is clever with the "venting" concept.

Well,
I am a caring person, especially about those who post here on TV. On the other hand, it does have a slightly negative connotation, and might not come across as either polite or humorous. I also considered "Whooter", along the same vein as JimV's suggestion. But then, I thought, "Whooter" might imply a boob, and we wouldn't want that, unless, of course, I spelled it "Wh(o)(o)ter"!

Well, I started this thread primarily in the hopes of getting some chuckles from the membership, hopefullly by bringing some humor to the concept. Anyone seeing a more sinister or dark motive behind the thread is taking this entirely too seriously, in my opinion.
JimyV and Quietmike seemed to get the idea, and I appreciate their playing along. I also hoped that promoting the idea of changing one's title to whatever they might choose might encourage others to post more to get to that level, too. 1000 posts isn't really that high (one post at a time, as they say) and we'll probably have a lot of folks reach that level in short order as the board grows. Just look at all the 1000+'ers on Bleeping Compuiter and you'll see what I mean. Perhaps though, in retrospect, I should have put this in the Comedy Club forum. A lot of Members arent really worried about Post count. Why rush to 1000 and post mostly Fluff?
