Well for the grand experiment - my husband went back to work today. So far so good. Thanx again for the well wishes during his illness.

Yes Dr said yes, but ... I spoke too soon - he's coming home early. A sore spot in his stitch area burst open. small infection.... Got to call Dr now. Oh well, we keep trying

Dr says he's fine, looks much better today. As the next two days are his scheduled days off (they are on 6 days on 3 days off schedule) he is going to try and rest, then go back - very sore today, he decided to change the oil in the car after he came home yesterday.

I know he's anxious, but rest means REST. He can still herniate something inside. I understand how he feels but taking care of himself now will benifit him 10 times down the road
