Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital after a call to the police last night as she was found hanging from the ceiling yelling "I am the lizard king" and refusing to hand over her youngest boy to K-Feds bodyguard. The police say she was "under the influence of an unknown substance", which could be anything at this point. Brit Brit will snort, drink, inhale anything for a buzz nowadays.

While witnesses describe Britney as definitely being on drugs, "She was sobbing as she was taken out of her house on a gurney. "They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she alternated between laughing and hysterics, a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy."

(If Britney was under control of some substance, why was the court appointed supervisor not aware of it and why were the children not taken away at the time?)

Clearly this young lady needs help.

Maybe this will be the turning point.

Kevin Federline was awarded custody of their children and her visitation rights have been curtailed.

Very sad indeed.

Celeberty gossip is not my thing, but I heard on the radio this morning that Dr. Phil had "intervened" and met with Britney and some of her family members.

Lets hope that Dr. Phil can help her and get her on the straight and narrow.

It is not surprising that someone who gained immense fame at a very young age, not to mention a lot of money, and without the benefit of any guidance except that of hangers-on and toadies who pampered her as long as she signed their paychecks, became excessively self-centered and built her own particular version of reality.

And just as the media fed on her fame, they now feed like vultures on her breakdown.
