babysitters

Due to my fathers slight illness we will have to take lil wade to a babysitter while we work. Lately he has become rather clingy and i am extremely worried and upset about the whole situation. I know what i am doing is for the best, but still it breaks my heart. Take for instance this morning when we dropped him off at my parents house (this was just before dad got sick) he screamed and clung to big wades jacket for his dear little life. We were all the way to the car and i could still hear him. If anyone has suggestions on easing the separation anxiety (for him OR me) i am open to suggestions. I know it is something that is just not going to go away but if i could just make it a bit easier on all involved i would be happy. Thanks!!

Toddlers

Today my 1 year old fell of the couch. of course i jumped and got scared, but he was fine. My husband and my father (both with the best of intentions) told me to get used to it, "he's a boy". I know he is going to get hurt and things over the years, and like my dad said i will always worry. but i guess i do have a tendency to over react and i am realizing i have to limit that now because little wade always looks at me before he cries when he falls and stuff.
