A few years ago we went to my mum's friends place on Christmas eve for dinner. Anyway my Mum's friend made home made cheese and ricotta pastizzis and they were one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.

Before I continue I would like to say sorry to the mods if you think I posted this in the wrong place, I didnt really know what category to put it in.
Who thinks alot of people have forgotten what ANZAC day really means? I sure do  If ANZAC day is meant for us to be a day when we stop and think about those that fought for our countries, our freedom and our rights why do so many people just see it as "a day of work where I can get absolutley $*** faced!" ?This morning I rolled out of bed at 4.30 am to get ready for work which really upset me because I missed out on watching the ANZAC day march with my Nan & Pop. That might not seem like a big deal to those of you who have a complete disreguard for this day of rememberance but its a big deal to me. Also a few of my friends wondered why everything wa shut till 1 in the afternoon. They didn't even know that ANZAC day was today! Do others see this my way? Do others feel like people just used this day to get trashed and have a day off work(well.. for those who got the day off >.>)? I'm not saying people can't celebrate ANZAC day, I'm all for that. I'm just saying people who think ANZAC day is just a day off and a chance to get trashed need a wake up call. Because without the ANZAC's, they might not have had the chance to enjoy all the luxuries we have today. I appreciate any imput on this subject. Thanks for reading
