This topic is directed at all of those who have been spouting their knowledge about global warming and mans place in it. And pointing out how "ALL THE FACTS ARE NOT IN YET"
If you caught any of the nightly news programs you are now aware that G.W. and his cabinet have been releasing rewritten scientific reports on global warming.
There has not been any debates going on about man's effect on the climate, our government's highest leader has been altering the scientific reports!!
The articles and reports you have been so kindly providing are tainted by our government and, well, there are not worth the paper they were written on!
Doesn't it make you feel like an absolute fool for putting your faith in information supposedly printed by credible scientific reporting agencies? (if you don't you should)
Along with all the other lies Bush has told to our nation, he and his affiliates have been tampering with scientific data changing it to have you believe that there are scientists who are not sure either way about global warming, when all the time the scientists have been telling our administration that there is no-doubt about global warming.
To those of you who may be a bit younger than I, may not be aware of how powerfull our political leaders can be when it comes to what, we the public are allowed to know.
This isn't the first time our leaders have lied to us, or filled us with propaganda that they wanted us to get behind, and by God this won't be the last!
When this topic came up for dicussion some time ago I along with others were tagged as alarmists.
I boldly stood up and screamed at the top of my voice "YES I'M AN ALARMIST" and so should you be.
You all may say what you will, but just observing the weather patterns and the bugs all us farmers have known for a while now that something has been changing dramatically.
So pooh pooh Al Gore all you want, but if we don't make DRASTIC changes in our behavior now, it won't be long when there will be no place left on earth for humans!!!
AND THAT AIN'T NO-LIE!!!

Bush announces free trade with Columbia

Do you feel like Bush is opening doors for even more importation of Cocain by allowing free trade with Columbia?

Where do we draw the lines

1. Should it not be cause for immediate removal from office provided an elected official publically admitts to breaking an already written law?

I'm not asking about moral indescrestions, but laws that as a citizens ourselves can be prosecuted and jailed for the same offence.
Such as when an elected representitive charged with any sex offence stands before the public and or a judge, ie; solicitation while in office, and admitts to the offence publically.

2. Once he has admitted his guilt, why isn't the first rule to remove him from office?

Then go on with the criminal proceedings.

Here in Michigan, if a man or woman gets arrested for peeing in public it is a filed as a sex offence.
Though you may get very little jail time, you must register as a sex offender and report your living address for the rest of your life. I believe this is the law in many other states also.

There's been a lot of elected officials admitting to wrong doing, but after resigning, nothing futher seems to be being done about his or her offence.
Some are not even resigning after pleading guilty in the courts.

3. Shouldn't they be held to higher standards than the general public?

Heck, I've have seen where seven year old, first grade boys being charged with sexual harrasment charges in Civil court.

Federal Bailout of investment firms

Will the bailing out of investments firms be the straw that we the taxpayers can not bear?

Stay strong honey

Last weekend we had a convicted bank robber escape from prison.
He had done about ten years of his fifteen year sentence and devised a simple but successfull plan for a night escape.
He managed to slip away and into a nearby neighborhood where he looked for a home where he could break in and steal some clothes to better continue his evasion.
He found a likely looking home, so he broke in through the kitchen window.
He found himself a knife in order to be armed in case there was anyone sleeping in the house.
After arming himself, he made his way into one of the bedrooms where he found a young couple asleep in their bed.
The convict went first to the man in the bed and put the knife to his throat as he woke the husband.
He forced the husband from the bed and into a chair at the foot of the bed. He then cut the cord from the curtains and tied the husband to the chair.
The he went back to the bed where the mans wife lay crying from fear. He tore off the top sheet and cut it into pieces and tied the woman to her bed.
Surprisingly after securing her firmly, he knelt on the edge of the bed, and bent down to gently kiss the mans wife on the neck. After doing so, she stopped her sobbing.
The escapee then suddenly got up from her side, ran down the hall and into the bathroom.
The husband, seazing his moment to consul his wife, whispered,
" Honey, I know the guy was kissing on you, but please be as calm as you can. Do whatever this guy wants you to do, even if it means you have to give into his sexual demands".
"Remember that I Love you, and if we do whatever he wants, we may be able to get out of this alive!"
" Above all honey just REMAIN STRONG!"
Hearing her husbands Loving voice and his concerns for their safety she whispered back to him;
" Oh my Dear, he wasn't kissing me."
" He was whispering in my ear that he was gay, and he found you attractive!"
" He then asked where we kept the vaseline!"
" Please My Dear remember that I Love you, and above all REMAIN STRONG!"
